Dr. Kiran Shah established Neurology & Sleep Clinic in 1997. He is the medical Director of our Sleep Center. Our Sleep Lab is accredited by American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and the only one in Carrollton, TX. Dr. Shah graduated from M.P. Shah Medical School in India with honors. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine before completing a Neurology residency at S.U.N.Y in Syracuse, New York. He was selected as chief resident in neurology. Dr Shah is a Diplomat of American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Shah is a board certified in Neurology (ABPN) and Sleep Medicine (AASM and ABMS) and has over 20 years experience in patient care. He is also certified by American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He keeps his knowledge current by attending several hours of CME. In addition to diagnosing and treatment of neurological diseases, Dr. Shah offers expertise in EMG. Dr. Shah is a consulting neurologist at Texas Health Resource Plano (Presbyterian Hospital of Plano) and Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton. Memberships include Texas Neurological Society, American Society of Neuroimaging, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Dallas County Medical Association and Texas Medical Association. He resides with his wife and two daughters. Apart from being a tennis and technology fan, he likes to exercise, read and travel. Along with his family, he organizes and serves at Health Fair to help his community.
